LIME:
As an infusion it is used in cases of rheumatism, arthritis,
uric acid, indigestion. Very relaxing.
MARJORAM:
Used in cooking mainly for sauces. Therapeutically it is considered
to have antiseptic, anti neuralgic, spasmolytic and other properties.
MINT:
As an infusion it is used against the diseases of the stomach, the
intestines and the gall. Its ethereal oils are used in distillery,
confectionery and perfumery.
MOUNTAIN
TEA: Stimulation, helps against cold and in the diseases
of the respiratory and urinary system.
OREGANO:
It is used mainly as a seasoning. Therapeutically it is used as
a tonic, diuretic, to protect against caries and in cases of colic.
ROSEMARY:
Used in cooking. Therapeutically it is used as a digestive, spasmolytic
and anti rheumatic.
SAGE:
In cooking it is used mainly with meat (pork, geese), game and vegetables.
As a tisane it is diuretic, relieves cough, stops bleeding and is
antispasmodic.
SPEARMINT:
Its aromatic leaves are used in cooking, baking and salad dressing.
As an infusion it is used to help indigestion and diarrhoea.
THYME:
Thyme relieves cough and cold. Further it is an excellent antiseptic,
tonic and digestive. In cooking it is used with meat and salads.
